Trust in Him
19 Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
As the event unfolds and Elijah meets the widow woman, he asks her for some bread. The widow’s response is that she doesn’t have any bread, just a little bit of flour and oil and it is only enough for her and her son to have before they die. I’m sure her response probably would send most of us into a place of questioning if we really heard God tell us to go meet this widow woman. But Elijah still remains at peace and the MIRACLE takes place not only for Elijah, but also for the widow and her son.
Be encouraged today, the Lord is faithful to perform His word. The key issues are; we must trust & have faith in Him, we must be obedient to do what he asks us to do immediately , we must be at peace , and we must maintain our fellowship with Him. It doesn’t matter what type of provision you need, i.e. finances, healing, a restored relationship, etc., the Lord says He will make RIVERS IN THE DESERT.
